Fjerntakst app for iPhone and iPad

This "Fjerntakst" application has been developed by AnsuR for geo-referenced photos and text for the Insurance Industry. Shortly after an image or text is captured and sent by an end-user, it will be available on a server accessible from the call centre of an Insurance Company.

The input of in-situ visual information will help an Insurance Company assess damages. Images and data provided via this application will be stored and made accessible by API for our Insurance Company clients.

End-users will allow use of the images and data related to managing their an insurance claim. The App will be free to use.

The photos are automatically time-stamped and geo-referenced. GPS is most precise, but basically only works outdoors; hence the APP solution also includes positioning via cellular and Wi-Fi networks.

Photos are compressed significantly to save time and bandwidth, but higher resolution parts can be automatically requested later if needed, in which case the photo-provider is notified with an SMS if the phone number is properly registered.
